I'm a young 37 year old Grandma. I am heartbroken all the time over my grandbaby. I worry, I miss her so bad. Why do I FEEL THIS WAY?

Because your life is not full enough on its own. Develop a full and interesting life of your own. Then when you do share time with your grandchild, you will have something of value to share, not just your own neediness.

Talk with your doctor about the possibility of depression. Sometimes these sort of obsessive and overly concerned feelings have a chemical basis in our brains. Also, the possibility that you are beginning peri-menopause can work in tandem with these things to make it all so much more troublesome.

I am a young grandma as well why are you heart broken?

I assume your grand-baby is living somewhere besides where you do. mine as well which will cause you to miss them.

Your worry: Need more information

I think it's true, you love her and you want another baby of your own. Have you thought about one more? You think to yourself, sheesh, if Madonna can have her first at 37, why can't you have your last at 37? Have a baby, be consumed with your own child and raise this one good enough not to get pregnant so young and go get an education.

That is nice to know: But the bad thing, is that you had s e x too early. I hope you meet your child and say, "no more". YOu probably feel this way because you are too young.

You have a strong connection with your grand kid thats why you feel that way. Is there any way you can go see her or your child can bring the baby to see you?
