Everyone in heaven or on their way to heaven are saints. You, me, my deceased grandmother, Mary the mother of Jesus, and Mother Teresa.

Catholics and many other Christians believe in the Communion of Saints where all saints are intimately related in the Body of Christ, a family. When you die and go to heaven, you do not leave this family.

With love in Christ.

I'm not catholic but the bible refers to all those who have trusted Christ as saints, only because Jesus stands in the place of the sinner not from anything good one has done

First of all, all people are sinners, not just Christians.
Once in a while, someone so great comes to this earth to teach us about how to be closer to God by the things that they do and teach. These are ordinary people who lead extraordinary lives in devotion and dedication to God. These people are recognized for their efforts by the church not for THEIR benefit (because they don't reach sainthood until they die), but for ours.
These are the leaders that lead us to Jesus Christ.

Saints are still human. I'm not Catholic, but surely Saints are just really good people. None was perfect but Christ.

Mare: don't represent yourself as one of us (Christians).

Catholocism mistakenly exalts mere human beings, though as Jesus says, there is none good but one, God (Mark 10:18). A saint originally meant simply a person justified by God's mercy through Jesus, not justified by their actions. For as it written:

Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Some of their saints may indeed be Christians who will be in heaven, but not because they earned their way but because they repented and trusted in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

It was a good question, and as far as the horrible things Mare said:

James 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, DEVILISH.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

once we receive Christ nowhere in the bible does it refer to us as sinners. We then are referred to as saints. Christians sin but they are not sinners. Impossible to understand unless you first accept Christ by faith.

Seriosly??? Or Mockingly? Because that we beleive that they made it to heaven. And Since we are the "Evil Pagan"church and "pray" to them ---- We beleive that those in heaven can intersede on our behalf... I think a saint needs three miracles to be recognized...
