I think you have talent. You have the touch in black and white, but honestly you need some practice in the color photography, especially when you photograph people. Explore with angles, light and lenses. Try scanning the pictures and playing around with the colors and add texture on the computer. Small things like that can go a long way and change the picture dramatically. I would hang some of the black and whites on my wall. Keep at it gurl, you have a gift!!

Wasn't Larry Schwarm known for photographing prarie or prarie fires??
Anyways... onto the image critiques,
Your posing is horrible. The poses are completely unflattering to the subject.
The black and whites are rather bland.
However, you do have one good photo going for you and that's the closeup of the hands on the guitar. However, that's a photo I've seen in every music magazine and every band coverage out there. I don't see anything that would categorize you as unique or different from a 12yr old with a disposable camera at a concert.

I think your black and white photos show a really great eye and a creative way to present what you see. You still need to gain more experience but you have a very promising future in photography.
By more experience, I mean you still need to work on mastering some of the technical aspects of photography. Some of your photos have a loss of detail in the shadows or have the highlights blownout. Although these can help create the mood you want, they also attract attention and are usually looked on as defects. I think you need experience in knowing what your camera can do and taking advantage of it.
I also think most of your photos could benefit from more post-processing work. You need a good photo editing program such as Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to bring out the good points in your photos and take attention away from the not-so-good points. In film photography, 90% of the work was done in the darkroom, and in digital photography, 90% of the work is done in your photo editing program. Learn that just as you learn your camera.
Your people photos impress me as being just snapshots. The creativeness you show in your black and whites does not carry over into the people photos. With your artistic capabilites, I think you can work that out since you obviously have the talent in some areas. Unfortunately, I can't give you any advice as I'm not an artistic or creative person myself.

Hmm... You really need to work on your color photography. Black and whites are okay, but try not to do the main object of intrest directly in the middle. Take an art class or photography class and you'll learn more about off-setting things to make a picture more interesting. It's all about using the right balance. And if you don't know what I mean by balance as an art term, I suggest you take a basic art class, and you should learn more about it.

I Very nice! I see the patterns you are going for. I love b & w photos. What kind of camera (s) do you use?
Try for a little humor/irony in your pics. A photo is like a poem, or, better yet, like haiku.

I really like the black and whites - especially the guy standing underneath the arch. That has a very sad quality to it...
Nice! :)

It's pretty good. Reminds me of my style.
One thing you can do to improve is not have your subject in the direct center of the photo.

the B&W pic are ok. i like them. but those in colours aren't really nice. it's ok though. keep working on it and you'll improve since you're still a student.
