i go to bed when i am feeling really tired (usually at around 11:30). sometimes i read, but most of the i do sudoku puzzles to get my mind off of everything that went on during the day. but when i go to lay down to go to sleep, i get incredibly restless. i toss around and can't get comfy and i can't sleep. and when i do start to fall asleep, something will wake me up and then i'll do the whole "toss, turn" thing again.
it sucks.
does anyone kno why i can't sleep??

I'm an insomniac so I can sympathize! There are all sorts of tricks to try, warm milk, a warm bath, mild exercise about 1 hour before bed. Try to read or do puzzles somewhere other than bed and have your room dark and on the cool side. try self relaxation when you lie down close your eyes and starting at your temples imagine each muscle slowly relaxing as you move down your body. If all else fails a mild over the counter sleep aid may be needed on occassion or see a doctor. Good Luck and Sweet Dreams!

I had that problem for 2 years! I was miserable! Then a friend introduced me to Himilayan Goji Juice. Within 2 days I started sleeping through the night and have never looked back. This is the only functional juice on the market with medical validation including 34 scientifically proven health benefits. There are 72 published clinical studies on Pubmed.org under Lycium Barbarum, the scientific name for the Goji berry. A good night's sleep seems to be the first thing people notice when drinking this juice.

When I have that problem, reading helps me to get sleepy. However, I've tried the sudoku puzzles and they seem to stimulate my brain and wake me up more.
I've discovered Dreamz, an herbal sleep aid. It's awesome! Several of my friends use it, too, and they love it.
Dreamz is fantastic for getting a restful night of sleep and waking up refreshed without drowsiness!

I'm not sure why you can't sleep, but I have some suggestions. You could try listening to music to calm you when you begin to feel restless, this seems to make me stop moving. Try a body pillow to lay with or even try putting a pillow between your knees when you lay on your side. I was once told that you will fall asleep faster when your knees aren't touching! I know that it sounds silly but it helped me get to sleep quicker.

What time do you get up in the morning, maybe your getting to much sleep.Than you should ask your self, what goes on in the day that you keep thinking about right before you go to bed.I would write it down before you go to bed......then maybe you could rest better. If that don't work try some over the counter sleeping aids, and if that don't work try asking your doctor. hope you feel better.

cut out the caffeine, review the medicine/vitamins you're taking for stimulants, don't workout at night - do it in the morning, try meditating, maybe you're feeling stressed/depressed? I don't know.
