Actually the wine does not have to be red. I have seen white wine used for Eucharist as well.
At the Last Supper, Jesus said, “Take this bread. It is my body.” Then he said, “Take this and drink. This is my blood. Do this in memory of me.”
Catholics believe this was the First Eucharist, that through some miracle the bread and wine actually became the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
Catholics reenact the Last Supper during every Mass, where the priest, acting in place of Christ, changes the bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
This is a great sacrament of thanksgiving and unity of Catholics.
With love in Christ.

At the Last Supper, Jesus offered the Disciples to drink of the wine, representing his blood, and eat of the bread, representing his body. It is used as a communion, or symbolic joining of and with Christ and Christ consciousness.

The Last Supper. Jesus and the disciples on the evening before Judas betrayed him. Jesus, breaking the bread and pouring the wine says something to the effect of: "This is my body and my blood. Take. Eat. Do this in remembrance of me." And so everyone does... to this day.
That help?

It's not just Catholics who drink red wine, it's most Christian churches (although some replace it with grape juice or some other red coloured juice), at the Last Supper, Jesus passed around a cup of wine and told his disciples to drink it in rememberance of him. He also broke some bread and passed that around to be eaten in rememberance of him (his body, or physical form).

They drink red wine in rememberence of the sacrifice Jesus made for their sins and iniquities. It represents his blood and the bread represents his body. They give this in rememberence of him.

because it is a death cult ,that worships an execution, symbolically drink blood and eat flesh.
and it applies to all Christianity
,
and as far as trees are concerned
thousands of hectares being deforested unnecessarily
,to use for coffins,
and many more for their temples and symbolism.
they even symbolically wear a piece of dead tree around their necks .
Not even talking about the billions of humans that have died because of this culture,
and the billions that probably will die in the future ,when their plan to lower the world population by 60% ,gains full momentum.
that's why its called a death cult ,because it involves a lot of death.
