i don't think it hurts much at all, it's kind of like getting pinched. and it only takes a minute or so, it depends on how much they need to take. if you're donating blood it will take longer, the minute estimate was for simple blood draw.

No it doesn't HURT
It's a quick pinch or a little stinging feeling and it's over.Once the needle is in and drawing the blood it doesn't hurt.
It takes about 20 sec to draw blood. Unless they take more then one tube. Close your eyes or look away. It will be over before you know it. Get use to it cause when you are PG or as you get older you have to have more blood work.
:)
you'll be fine

I have very small arms and my veins roll easily so it is usually H3LL drawing blood for me. I do suggest that you drink plenty of water before hand. If your body is hydrated then your veins are more visible and are easier to get blood from. This also prevents bruising later. It shouldn't take no more than 5 minutes or so. Good Luck... Hope I helped!!

If they can't find the vein, it can hurt. But if they find the vein and the blood comes out okay, it just feels like uncomfortable pressure. I pass out whenever I get my blood drawn so I have to lay down. If you think you're nervous enough to pass out, you might want to ask if they'll let you lay down.
