My friend had the same problem, she went to doctor and he says her Hormones was unbalanced, and he gave her this medicine, that will make her period go off, and come right back on real heavy, heavier than it was at first, he told her that she could be having a period for almost a month, and told her it is easier to get pregnant.

That is BAD! She really needs to see a doctor! I had that happen to me and it was because of a cyst in my uterus that caused a tear in the lining. But it could be anything...she needs to get the bleeding to stop. I'll bet she's anemic, too.

my best friend had the same problem and she stay 2 weeks in the hospital and had her ovary removed so yes have her call a nurse and ask some question at the emergency room

No. She's not likely to be pregnant. She should probably just see her doctor about regulating her period.

anything could be wrong....if she's not on the pill she might need to be to regulate it...time to see the doc though for sure.

she should see her dr. abnormal bleeding is usually a sign something may be wrong.
