Consult your pastor would be the best thing I could recommend.

My pastor has had a lot of contact with the demon-possessed. He's pretty analytical too and an excellent historical scholar. He has known a lot of people who had weird experiences like that or even furniture moving or cars starting on their own after getting involved with the occult like ouija boards or astronomy stuff. As he likes to say, there are only 2 spiritual kingdoms, God's/the angels and Satan's/the devils. He doesn't deny there is "magic" or other powers, and neither does the Bible. He just points out that if it's not coming from God that leaves only one other source. There is no "white or black" magic. Have you been involved with anything like that? I don't know enough of your specific situation to guess, but maybe I could try emailing you my pastor's email address if you think it would be a good idea, so he could talk to you about it.

I have encountered demons before and you simply have to trust in the BLOOD of JESUS that he shed at the Cross. It's his shed blood that sets us free from sin.

You cant trust the Roman Catholic hoodoo. Trust Jesus. Demons love to make us doubt.., and rattle us. You rebuke the demon(s) in the name of Jesus and order them away. That simple. THEN Ignore them.

Assuming you are saved (see Acts 2:38 if you've already read the gospels) Demons can not harm you. Think of them as sissies dressed up and trying to scare you. Stand on the word and do not keep addressing them.

if you feel you must say anything more - just tell them to go, they do not frighten you anymore nor do they have any power over you.

Do not keep repeating yourself - this casts you in doubt and they know it. They try to play a game of chicken with you so to speak, waiting for you to flinch and start rebuking them again and again.

Trust the power of Christ and stand on it. Don't repeat yourself. Like I said if you say anything more, just let them know you do not fear them because you are protected by the authority of Jesus.

I am a "true believer" in Jesus. However, I do not believe in Christianity because it is a false religion designed to enslave mankind through undeserved guilt and fear of dying yet again after death.

Your dreams are probably a result of your subconscious mind trying to make sense of the obvious guilt you feel for the persecution and crucifixion of Jesus. If you actually believe what your Bible says, then you should also believe you've been rescued from any such "demons". Try to relax and get a good nights sleep.

From what I am reading, Satan is trying to get you through your dreams, because he knows he can't touch you when you are awake. You are doing exactly what the Bible says, Rebuke the devil and he will flee. All you have to do is say the Name of Jesus and he has to leave. Don't beat yourself up over losing confidence, Satan is cunning like that. You are right, Jesus did have five wounds and Satan knew that. I too had to battle the devil in my dreams a few times, but all I kept saying the Name of Jesus to him and eventually he knew he wasn't getting me, I belong to God. Satan don't bother people that are not Christians, he already has them. He is after the believers as hard as he can now, because his days are numbered. Before you go to bed, pray to Jesus for help and rebuke the devil before he has a chance to bother you in your dreams. Satan can't touch something that is Gods. I am praying for you. (I noticed you still got silly answers even when you asked not to get them. Some people don't think stuff like this is real, but it is.)

These dreams are not of God, so while you are awake pray that God will protect you from them and give you a good night's sleep. While you may be under demonic attack, I rather think you may have an over-active imagination. Best to get some friends to pray with you if these dreams continue.

To Princess Joanne: "Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum" is latin and means "Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews" and it should not be used as some sort of magic formula.

I'm kinda confused as to what the demon said, but regardless, you must have some really strong fears of being attacked by a demon, and the dreams could be from there. We dream of our fears, so it's possible. You should probably talk to your pastor.

I've heard that some people are really attacked in their dreams, usually very devout people, but who knows if they're really being attacked or just having nightmares. Apparently, your rebuking usually works just fine, so try to keep it up. Nightmares can be very frightening, but just remember, if you're God's, then demons can't hurt you. They may try, but as long as you keep your faith, you'll always win.

I don't know if I qualify for your definition of a "True" Jesus believer, but I'd say that the dream might mean that you are having doubts about your beliefs. I can't really give you any advise except to see the person who runs your church and hopefully they can help you renew your faith, and if that doesn't help, try learning as much about the life of Jesus as you can, from both biblical perspectives, and those that weren't included in the bible.

I'm a Christian, 12 years of religious-based education, attend church - now that the credentials are out of the way, back to you - if the dreams are bothering you to the point of being unsettling, disturbing, or otherwise harming your peace of mind - and if they've continued despite thoughtful reflection and prayer (which I presume they have), may I suggest consulting a therapist? If you find that suggestion offensive, I offer my sincere apology in advance. If psychotherapy doesn't appeal to you for whatever reason, speak to a reputable minister or priest, and let THEM suggest a suitable therapy. Best hopes for a speedy resolution.

As a 'true' Christian answer as I can get from being raised Catholic for my 17 years of life, those who truly believe in Jesus would never tell you what your dreams mean. They'd leave that for those "demon-filled" psychics.
I say, though, that dreams are what you make of them. If you're having a good time, you're relaxed. If, in the dream, there are problems, you may be having problems in your life. You're probably just realting them religiously in your subconsious state.
Good thing I'm not a 'true' Christian : )

I'm sorry about this. I'm sure it's kinda depressing.

I believe there are real demons that are responsible to the devil for our soul. They are supposed to tempt us to do wrong and doubt God.

But I know that God *is* more powerful than the devil. When you pray, you said you use Jesus' name. That's good, cuz the devil hates that. I recommend that you talk to a preacher, reverend, priest, whoever you look up to. They will be glad and able to help you. Try not to get too discouraged. God will help you.
