The anti-christ will appear Christlike, it will be very likable, trustworthy and seem to be a good person, but be pure evil inside. That is why you need the Holy Ghost to help you tell the difference.

The Anti-Christ is already here; it's been here! It is appearing Christ-like; it's been deceiving people for the longest time. The Anti-Christ is pure evil; he will be destroyed in the fire (Rev.19:20)because he deceived all the world(Rev.13:3) in worshipping and following him. People are being led astray from Jesus as we speak! Most(Matt.7:13) haven't even followed (Phil.2:21)Jesus at all; they just put the banner of christianity on them and say they're Christian. They all are daughters that are following the (Rev.17:5)"mother church."

I am fully convinced in light of the current events going on in the Middle East and the world in contrast to the prophetic Biblical Scripures.., that the Antichrist will arise from Islam and could possibly make his debut at the Dome of the Rock Mosque which sets squarely on a wing of the Temple Mount (Daniel 9:7).
What's more I believe either a man claiming to be Jesus will join this man as the Antichrist's false prophet and will attempt to turn Christians to Islam. This false prophet could possibly be a Pope or other Roman Catholic official presenting himself as the authoritative representative of Jesus.
The Antichrist will not come as many suspect. The movies and myriad of books have steered the masses mental imagery of the Antichrist into a stereotype along with a false perception of the number set, 666.
Keep your eyes to the Middle East and beware of the Muslim's awaited, "Mahdi". I believe this man when he comes is the Antichrist.

Well I wish I had the particular scripture right now with me, but in my opinion I believe it's said that the anti-christ will try to fool us into believing that he is indeed jesus Christ, so I wouldn't think he would appear to us as pure evil in the flesh, there has to be some way to try to trick us and so he'll mimick Christ, and we all know Christ performed many miracles so he'll try to do the same and fool some, but if he wants to fool us I don't believe he'll come out the way he really is which is evil, because he wants acceptance first.

the anti-Christ read 1john,2;18 it will tell you about the anti-Christ.one of the things in 2;22-1-john says the one that denies the father and son is the anti-Christ,now I'm reading this from the bible its not me words alone.so what do the people think the anti-Christ is?so i take it must be the religions false ones.that are leading the people the wrong way.my opinion is to read the bible yourself do not go by other peoples talk.it could lead to the path of unrighteousness.

I dont believe in an antichrist. One reason for that because I dont believe in everything the bible said. It has been proven that not all gospels were included in the bible.(See Gospel of Judas for one) For this reason alone, what gives us the assurance that the early Church didn't try to modify the Bible. Second, as what our history lectured us, priest before were the evil of soceity. For all we know, we're still playing, or rather you are still playing on their game made a few centuries ago.

If he appeared pure evil, no one would follow him, would they? Then he couldn't get any political power so his very existence would be moot. Of course he has to appear good, can't get political power without being a good deceiver, ask any politician.

Satan always likes to masquerade as the good guy, but his works show otherwise.
2 Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
As Jesus said, you'll know them by their fruits and by their words:
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Luke 6:44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
