Check at your local high school, library or community college. Someone there should be able to point you in the right direction.

Another option that you might want to consider instead of night school is an on-line course. With an on-line GED course, you can study from your own home at whatever time is convenient for you (night, weekend, day off, etc.). I've listed one on-line course website below, where you can take a course to get you ready, as well as take practice tests, find GED testing locations near you, and it even has info on financial aid for the GED. Hope this helps!!

Call your local school district or superintendant of schools. They could probably give you information to get rolling in a program. Or, do you have a tech school in your area that offers classes to obtain your GED? Some businesses also (Wal-Mart for example) will pay for your classes and textbooks to obtain your GED. My advice is, if you don't have a job already, apply at Wal-Mart. If you are hired, let the personnel manager know that you would like to obtain your GED. You could just do it for free. Good luck!
