Both are more or less the same. All aerobic work out are comes under the so called cardios.
If you do want to loose weight, combine cardios with resistance trainining. Your fat los is guranteed as the resistacne training will always give u an after burn. That is even if you are at desk job too the body will consume fat if you do the resistance training. Whereas the cardios never give such a benefits.
If you do like to know more, pls do feel free to write me.
Good luck.

Aerobics is fun, but I know that I don't like doing it all the time, Cardio (its the same as an Aerobic workout) is more like running and stuff like that. I find that easy cuz you can watch TV and you don't have a bunch of crazy moves to remember like with an Aerobic routine.

Cardio and aerobics are the same thing. Cardio means exercises that increase heart beat and aerobics increase breathing. I think this combined with light weights works best. Increased muscle mass (from lifting the light weights) uses more calories and will therefore make you lose weight more easily. They also increase metabolism (the rate your body burns calories).

The only way to know what YOUR own body drops weight faster with is to just try one for a week or two and then try the other and compare. Or why not just do both - as long as your heart is pumping, that's what helps to shed pounds. If you're REALLY out of shape, I suggest walking first for a week, an hour a day to start.

Cardio is necessary to burn calories, weight/resistance training is necessary to build muscle mass to increase your metabolism. So the ideal weight loss exercise program is some combination of cardiovascular conditioning and weight/resistance training.
Aerobics is simply one kind of cardiovascular conditioning. They are not two different things. Other kinds of cardio include running, swimming, biking or spinning, stairmaster, fast-paced walking, and the more active forms of yoga, like ashtanga and bikram.

It has to do with your heart rate target. A lower heart rate target is better for burning fat. Go to a gym and talk to a trainer. Sometimes it costs between forty and fifty bucks for a half hour but you only have to do it once to get some basic information. Also toning muscles raises your metabolism so you burn more fat just by sitting around if you have toned muscles.

both are the same thing. Best way to lose weight through cardio excersise ( heart excersise) is to walk or run evry day . If you are going to run, make it on grass. Running on cement with destroy your kness and ankles, back.
Swimming is the best . Cross country skiing. If you want to only excercise at home, have a look at TONY LITTLES'GAZELLE free of IMPACT SKI MACHINE. I LOVE IT.
