you, just like your mother, have all the right to choose whatever religion you want.
why don't you do some research and then decide ?
you have access to the itnernet, go surf a little and make your own decision......(instead of just being at yahoo answers, hehe)

There's God and then there's religion. Religions are man made sets of rules. That should tell you something right there. Always remember, God is infinite. Infinite means limitless, no limits at all, NONE! Think of everything that you can possibly think of, then think of all the things that everybody else in the world can possibly think of and that is only "the tip of the tip of the iceberg" of what infinite means. If something, like a religion or just a particular belief, puts some kind of limit on God, then maybe that belief should be doubted and questioned. So if you always remember first that God is infinite, then trust yourself. The 2 things I have learned years ago and seem to work really great since, are "Know yourself" and "Do unto others as you would have them do to you". Other than that, just keep reading EVERYTHING you can about the things that make you wonder! Good thoughts and have fun in your journey's discoveries! You'll get there and please, whatever you do, don't waste time worrying.

Ask God for help. Study the Bible - NOT some church. Every church has a "doctrine". Those doctrines seldom follow the Bible. If you can, get an "exhaustive concordance" of the Bible. The best is "Strong's". It has EVERY word in the Bible and tells everyplace that word is used. It also has Hebrew, Chaldee, and Greek dictionaries in the back. Look up words like hell, soul, and spirit. The Bible will teach you the correct meanings of those and other words.

i am an atheist. i see religion as social control, they tell you what and how to think. they also claim a lot of stuff with out any proof to back it up. they also don't deliver upon any of their promises. they make you focus upon this make believe world when the only life we have is here in the real world. science is the only human institution (religion is man made) which provides truth. look at all the advances science has created for our lives. what has religion done? created wars and promoted ignorance. no thank you none of that crap here please. the reason you are confused is because it is all a bunch of crap, every time someone decides that they don't like their particular church they either join a different one or make up a new one. and nobody has been able to provide one shred of evidence to support spirits, angels, or god. i though people had stopped believing in magic centuries ago, i guess i was sadly mistaken. in the end my girl think for yourself, don't let me or anyone else tell what to think. just please for the sake of humanity THINK.

If you don't believe it, don't waste time convincing yourself of it. Sit down and think about what you believe, not what everyone else believes. Once you make up your mind, you will feel better that you chose your own path. trust me, that is what I did, and I am happy with my views. your family and friends will respect your decisions no matter what. If they don't, then they don't really love you for who you are.

Just remember that you don't have to go by one religion, you can have views on many things from many religions. And don't do something just because your friends or family are.

You are in a great place right now, a journey to find the truth. This is the time for you to ask God for yourself. Believe me when I tell you He will answer you. Go to God with a pure heart and He will lead you in the direction best for you to find Him.

You need to make your own decisions. Read the new testament, then read their book and decide for yourself what you believe. Don't let others dictate your faith. Go with your instinct, not what others tell you. I'm christian, and would be sad to see you go muslim, but no one can tell you what to believe, it has to come from inside you. Pray and ask God to help you.

Sad to say, there exists good and bad religion ...and a whole lot of so-so religion in-between.
I am sure you are attracted to what is logical and reasonable.
Go with that.
Even if it is a 'gut feeling', don't ignore it.
Listen to everything and then make up your own mind.
Don't let others tell you how you should think.
And remember ....its lonely out there.

You're so confused?
Thats' what religion is supposed to do to you at first...untill you get a handle on just one religion...then you become totally brainwashed!!!
Trust in yourself and don't do any harm or wish any harm to others...you should be okay with that for now...the rest will come in time as you age.
