Actually, I can explain wicca to you easy as pie.
t was made up in the mid 20th centruy by a guy who read some occult books, a little Joseph Campbell, and studied Aleister Crowley (the sex magician and proto-Satanist) and decided to make up his own religion. His main goals were to have orgiastic fertility rites with nubile, gullible hippie women. Wicca is little more than a hodgepodge of various traditions and beliefs ripped out of their contexts (straight from the pages of Frazer's Golden Bough) and thrown together in a sloppy, mismanaged fashion like some sort of pagan Frankenstein. Are you familiar with the saying "Jack of all trades, master of none"?
My final thesis: Wicca lacks depth, substance and elaboration, remaining just a plaything for those who do not or can not delve into serious religious or philosophical study.

Jen there are many things you must understand....Wiccan beliefs are as varied as any of the other religions a person may study.... I, myself am an Ecclectic Wiccan....I do practice several types of rituals.....
I am ordained as a priestess....to help in marriages, funerals, and baby namings, the reason I became ordained is there are so many people that are unforgiving of those who do not believe as they do......I am not that way
my main beliefs are all about nature.....where I came from where I will return....
my favorite saying which most wiccans will agree on.......
" ' an harm none.....do what ye will"
as for information check libriaries....and even bookstores....you will have to find what works for you
BLESSED BE!

To me? No, not at all. I myself am Wiccan and was raised by good-natured Wiccan parents and I believe I know plenty about my religion, and would love to share it's messages with other people such as yourself who are willing to learn more about Wicca.

Sinthiya pretty much hit them all.
I really like "The Spiral Dance" by Starhawk. And anything by Scott Cunningham is usually straight forward and easy to read.
There is a lot of information out there. We are kind of all over the place. I think it's because that we value the individual's experience of goddess and god. And, there is plenty of depth involved, if you are willing to delve into it.

No it is not difficult. Try www.witchvox.com
Buy a copy of 'Wicca:A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner' by Scott Cunningham. An easy read, and very informative.
