I hydrate throughout the day so I don't think that's the problem... I'm also not starving myself so that's definitely not the problem... I usually push myself VERY hard and usually a little into an hour I feel very weak and nauseated! What's the deal!?

Probably your sugar level got low, why don you drink gatorade or make your own solution of salt and sugar water. It will help.
Also you might need some minerals.

It sounds like you're pushing yourself too hard. Have you just started exercising? If so, you need to gradually ease into your daily workouts: start with 15 minutes a day, and gradually increase by increments of 5 or 10 minutes.

Or, you could just have low blood sugar at that point. When I get weak while running, it's usually because I'm running on fumes. Try drinking some Poweraid or popping a handful of grapes into your mouth after 30 or 40 minutes of exercising and see if that helps.

If that's not it, I would call your doctor to see what the problem is.

This is not my professional opinion but here goes..
Have you been exercising regularly? if so then the problem is not due to a slight shock to the system..
Do you smoke? If so try not to at least a hour before working out.
Do you eat enough or have you changed your eating habits or diet?..this is very important that your body recieve the carbohydrates and sugar/energy it needs in order to burn it during the workout..that could be a source of dizzyness, weakness or fatigue if not handled correctly.
How long do you wait before you exercise after eating? usually 4 hours is a decent time to wait before you do the VERY hard routine you speak of.
When you push yourself really hard are you running or what is it exactly that you are doing?...cause if you are constantly trying to break your limits then your body will try to resist this "Punishment/Trauma" by getting rid of what is non essential to the performance that is required of it..therefore that is the nausia you feel...

All in all I think you should try to keep the pace but take a breather when you feel that bad and start again..taking two hours to burn the same energy at half the effort makes more sense that burning it all in one hour at twice the effort..moderation is the key..however it all depends on what exercises you are doing and the type of training you are trying to accomplish..for example long distance road running and weight lifting are two entirely bags of potatoes so your approach is key here to the training.
All this on the one hand and on the other it could be mediacal but I doubt that.

Good luck, be safe and hope you find the answer you are looking for : )

Why are you pushing yourself so hard this is your bodies way to tell you to slow down we are not all olympiads. Definitely do not eat an hour before the work out. If you are not eating within the hour of the workout then you are probably....not correctly proportial with electrolites....try a sports drink. But a better option is to not push yourself so hard.....exercise for 45 minutes....then if need be rest and exercise again 45 minutes later. Straining the heart to the degree that you are (from what I interpret from your message) is not healthy exercise like all things is best in moderation.

This sounds like its probably a heat related injury, if your working out in an air conditioned enviroment you need to slow down on your workout its like when you push a car to hard it over heats because it cant keep up with the workload of the user. your body does the same thing. Now here is a biggie if this has happened once it takes your body time to recover from it, this is an inury/illness that needs to be taken care of before you workout again. If i am treating a worker I ussually make them stop working for 2-3 days to recover then they start back to work slowly, nothing to strenuous for a few days then gradually rebuild your body back to normal, keyword gradually. So simply shut down for a couple of days eat good meals drink enrgy drinks then slowly over multiple weeks build your tolerance back up and you shouldnt have this problem again. if it does occur it could be some type of other illness or disorder that needs to be evaluated by a physician. hope this helps, im no expert i just work in a clinic that treats injury similar to this quite a bit.

Firdt, you could be pushing yourself too hard. Secondly you could be sweating too much or working out in an atmosphere that's too warm for you. Thirdly, you could have low blood sugar, but that would only cause a feeling of light headedness for the most part. I'd suggest going to see a doctor and get a physical. There could be something else very wrong. If not, at least you'll know.

your electrolyles are out of wack. even if you think you drink enough water your body is saying otherwise. dont push so hard so fast. its much better to be a little easier on yourself and just go longer. dont push yourself to your limits right off. jog (dont run) for 20 minutes in the begining then SLOWLY work up from there. and take gatorade breakes whenever you change excersises. whenever you change excersises too, start out slow then work up. like if you lift weights start with maby 30 pounds then after a little bit put more weight on. dont try to do everything so fast. warm ups are the most important. and definatly talk to a dr asap. this is not healthy.

Ok. I know that starving yourself because you are working out is definately not a good thing. Its important to eat so that you will have strength and the necesities to build up muscle etc. Maybe you are not properly managing your breathing. See when you work out, you should exhale when you strengthen and inhale when you release so that your blood pressure does not rise a lot. Also if you work yourself too hard it might be a cause of your nausea. Work out, pace yourself, and specially don't over do it. Be careful you only get one body. Good luck, God bless.

Are you eating a meal before you work out? Not haveing enough nutirents in your system and another thing is pushing youreself too hard causes this also. Did you know professional body builders rest muscle sets every 48 hours? They work the top one day and the bottom the next say and do cardio every three to four days. It is as important to rest as it is to work out to allow the muscle to rest and regenerate.

Is it now hot and/or humid where you live? If so, you need to take it much easier--or at least workout early AM and after sunset. You may need additional water, than in cooler months. I didn't look to see your screen name, so don't know if you are male or female--if female, could you be pregnant, or is a period coming on? It might be a good idea to talk to a doctor about this--it could be happening for any number of reasons.

stop pushing yourself so hard, you wouldn't want to hurt yourself.
maybe workout hard for half an hour and then take a break for 10-15 minutes...do that a couple of times and you'll still get a workout, but also get some chill time.
