explain a theory through images?

i have to a photo essay that demonstrades a social theory. i have to choose any theory then armed with my camera and write a paragraph about the theory. i need help because i don't know what theory to use?

You could show pictures from anything you see that is racist: segregation, aparthide, etc and write a paper on it. It is easy and an extremely important social theory.

Read up on some of the theories and see what sorts of images they bring to mind. That will help you with conceptual framework. Or do the opposite and take your camera for a walk and look for images that illustrate a theory.

Find a homeless person begging for money on the street. Set up shop across the street and snap pictures of those who give and a few of those who just look the other way.

Segregation is a good one, but if you want to go a more positive route, take pictures of old couples that are still in love. (if this applies as a "social theory") The theory can be that true love, or true commitment, can still exist even under challenging circumstances (can any old couple that's still together has a good story or two on how they overcame challenging circumstances to their relationship.
