At my work we are subject to random drug testing, I had a positive test result last week and cannot understand how this happened. My husband smokes but I don't, is there any way I could test positive from being around him and if so, how come I never tested positive before?

Second-hand smoke! THC (the fun substance in MaryJane) shows up on blood tests very readily. Traces stay in your body for up to a month. It's ironic, because a lot of hard drugs don't show up on these tests as well as pot does. My advice, make him smoke in the garage, so you don't breathe it. Also, you can buy a detoxyfying drink over the internet. I do't remember what it's called but I can check.

if you have been around him or anyone who smokes weed a lot while he is smoking there is a chance of getting a contact buzz. if your around him everytime he smokes or if he smokes a lot then your chance increases . If he blows it at you or around you again that could be the cause. If your not around him when he smokes or he doesn't smoke a lot then check to make sure he's not putting it in your food because there would be no other reason for you to come out positive! lol
OH and don't buy the dexifying drinks! they don't work! my friend followed the directions to a T and still didn't get the job she was applying for! its a big rip off that doesnt work!

Were you recently in a closed-up room with him while he smoked it? I suppose it's possible to test pos. from secondhand marijuana smoke. I've never smoked or been around anyone who did on a regular basis, but I would've been careful if I had...
I knew a girl who got fired from her job the same way, and she didn't smoke it either. Her b/f did though....

Poppy seeds do it. Do you like them in your muffins? Maybe your Bagels. A women in the news tested positive, then sued her former employer, because it was because of bagels they provided that day. It could be second hand smoke?

you don't have to smoke it. when he is smoking around you ,you are in hailing the chemicals so you are getting as much of it in you as he is in him.but you can get drink to clean your urine,just look it up on line. I'm sure there is store's around where you live that sell these also.

poppy seeds and certain vitamins. that's what made my friends mom test positive. don't know the vitamins.
