hey you cant fight human nature, well you can but you may not be successful. Its in everyones nature to find the perfect mate especially if you are female. even animals are that way... besides you want and have the need to be loved and to have companionship... the whole reason we are here is to find the best possible mate and procreate and add to the human race as is in nature. but if you wanna know some reasons behind this you have to question yourself... as in what do you really want out of life? why can't you find that special someone? are your standards to low or to high? what makes you happy about being single? and why do you think you would be happier with someone then without. Emphasize what makes you happy in your life and spend less time on why you are unhappy. If you dwell on the negative aspects of being single then you may never be happy until you are in a relationship

I totally can relate to how you are feeling. It's great to be alone and take care of yourself, but it's also wonderful to have someone to share your life with. I am working on the very same thing about myself now. Just take care of yourself the best you can and do things that make you happy! Everyone keeps telling me that when I stop wanting a relationship and looking for one; that it will just happen. I wish the same for you. It's ok to not want to be alone. Some of us like the idea of being with someone else!

Some people are perfectly happy being single. Others need companionship, sometimes so much that their life feels incomplete without it. There's nothing wrong with that, you just have to be really careful not to give your love away to someone who can't love you back.

well it is kinda fun being single if you think about it... you can have your eyes on the hotties and also keep an eye open for the next boyfriend! so good luck! and also, if you are happy being single, guys might like that in you! just wait and someone will come around!

This society STILL perpetuates the myth that you have to be married to be happy.
Even studies done say you will live longer if you are married rather than single.
As a divorced mother, I can say the worst thing about being single is not having anyone to share my day with, or my nights.
I have quit looking for a "soul" mate, but I still look for companionship.
Don't give up.

People want to say the best relationship is the one you have with yourself...this is true...very true...however...life is at its best when you can share it with someone...God made Adam and Eve for a reason...companionship...friendship...healthy sex...its all relevant...if you have been single for some time, i can understand how you wouldnt be happy...Hopefully you are doing things that put you in the arena of meeting some positive people...hang in there!

Because your a human...
We as humans want to be loved, taken care of and nurtured. Some people who have anti-social disorders have a great time being single. Sometimes without any of that people are just better off being alone.
But for the rest of us normal people, We like...being in love...

Because some people (mostly women) feel that their entire identity is wrapped up in and defined by their partners. Others have abandonment issues. Some people just don't like themselves and feel better when they can focus their entire lives on someone else.
You will not find any dominant women with this problem.

girl trust me, im single too and i want a boyfriend. i have a friend and she has a boyfriend and kepts telling me over and over and over again! she always showing me this pic, signature,phone #,e-mail address, and even on the bus sometimes she would climb rite over me and wave out of the window at him and yell his name! you also probably shy like me. my other friend keeps asking, do you want a boyfriend, do you want 1, do you have a crush? IT GETS SO ANNOYING!! maybe, if your school has dances, maybe you can go and maybe meet some 1 there! i hope i will. or else, maybe just get guy friends and start talking to them, getting into them, stuff like that. Im going to do that next year so maybe we will both be happy next year! :)

Maybe you're bored, maybe you want to have someone else in the house when you come home from work, maybe you don't want to continue to eat meals alone, maybe you want a companion to do things with, maybe you're lonely, amybe you want sex.....all reasons for not being happy, being single...which one is yours?
