I ask cuz I feel like sometimes I am an alien in this world. Like EVERYONE around me believes in god except me..I feel very alone.

Believing in God does not make your life easier.
Will God give your marriage security? Will God protect you from heartache?
From Sorrow? Hunger? Poverty?
No. How will he make your life easier? The only thing he gives for you is hope and fear but you can get that without him.
I do not feel alone. I know God will not make my life easier only I can do that.

Just remember that you are never alone. Have faith in people... believe that people are good and people are what makes this life worth living. If you want, just try to avoid discussion on religious topics. Almost all of my friends are theists to varying degrees and I still love them because they are good people. When they learn that I don't believe in God, a lot of them may look at me strangely, but sooner or later they come around and see that I'm not some demon, and then our friendship continues. Those who don't are bigots and I wouldn't want to be friends with them anyway.
Trust yourself. You know the truth and no one can take that away from you. Judge people by how they behave, not by what they believe and people will do the same to you.

Unfortunately, atheists like you and I are alone in this world when it comes to our beliefs. We are a minority and 'coming out' can be a dangerous and scary thing. The idea of atheism scares people and they have a negative implication of what kinds of people atheists are.
Be open about who you are and continue to be a good person. People will see that you are a good and normal person.
I don't think believing in god makes it any easier. It just limits your life because you are constrained to what your religion tells you to do. Being atheist means you are on your own and you have to make yourself happy and a better person. You can't rely on any god. This is a good thing because it makes us stronger people.

Your not alone in this world. I don't believe in it either. And to answer your question, I don't know why people say that he makes your life go good if he was in your life. Really that isn't true at all, I mean my life is "Okay" not easier. God is only a man made ideal only to blame ones faults upon.

I wish I could believe in god but I just have too much sense.
Looking back over history even as far as the ancient Egyptians and roman empire, you can see that it is just a tool created by kings and governments for controlling their weak minded subjects.
Want a war? say its in the name of god, want to rule? say god has decreed it...
Don't feel alone not everyone believes in fairy tales.
And lets face it, if their is a god I'm sure he/she doesn't care whether or not you believe in him, just stay out of trouble and things will pan out fine.

Well i am a believer, but the truth is that life is not gonna get easier because you believe or not, it's just your way of coping with problems what changes, it's like always having somebody to help you, even though you can't see or hear from him, but God has his way of letting you know he is there for you.

I don't believe in God either and I hardly know anyone who does. Maybe you should find some like-minded individuals. I agree, sometimes it seems like life would be easier if you believed in...something. And it probably would. But easier isn't necessarily better.
