Well, it's normal, but excessive shedding could mean something's wrong. But yes, cats do shed minimal amounts everyday, but if you find huge clumps coming out then you should talk to your vet.

All cats, especially longhairs are more likely to shed in the summer months than at other times of the year. It is perfectly normal.

You should check with your vet. Shedding can be a sign of malnutrition but if it is around springtime, your cat could be shedding it's winter coat.

It is as normal for a cat to shed as it is for you and I to loose some hair while we shower. I wouldn't recommend changing your cats diet or doing anything different. just appreciate your kitty while you can.

cats will shed in the summer and different cats shed more or less, but bald spots are another story...if your cats has bald spots go see the vet....

pretty much all cats should shed, if its a lot it could be a sign of poor diet, i recommend science diet or purina pro plan
