who would pay- the guy or the girl?

My first date with my last girlfriend, I took her to a quaint Italian resturant (I paid) then took her for a walk to my favorite spot on the bank of a river in my hometown where we jsut sat under the full moon talking, getting to know eachother and just having fun. A bit old-school, alot of the time simple can be the best.

it depends on where you like to go. and how long you know the guy. if you trust him, you could anywhere, if this is a new guy and you are not sure yet, go to places where there is lots of people. as a gentment the guy should pay first. you accept this only if you like the guy, if not pay 50-50 and call it the end.

on a first date the man should pay. Traditional dinner and a movie is usually a good starter, or a candlelight pic nic on the beach.

maybe movies if it's a cute kid movie. i hate immodesty and besides that nothing awkward there to make it weird. then out to a 24hr restaurant to sit and talk for a long time. first date would be a getting to know each other experience, ya know?

if a woman insists i always pay i cant afford her. and i am dead serious about that.

If I am really keen I will ask the girl to dinner. That way we can get to know each other and I can tell how keen she is on me.
