Hey,
so i have a wonderful bf which i think i've already communicated in my other questions. I think he's really good looking and he is everything i could ever want. However i showed a pic of him to my gf's and they think that he's not good looking and that i coudl do better. this really hurt me and i don't know what to do now. I'm afraid to show this pic to neone else because i'm afraid of what they'll say. Now realized that i would NEVER EVER break up with him or think less of him because of what they say but i do wan their approval if u know what i mean? so what should i say to them if they don't like how he looks and what should i think?

you have a boyfriend and you want your so called friends approval? sorry i don't get it, if he's your boyfriend and there your mates how come they don't know him and have only seen a pic. my advise get new friends. i could never in a million years tell my friends that their boyfriends weren't good looking even if that's what i thought, and i would never tell them that they could do better unless he was been horrible to her. true friends accept each others partners and even if your not that keen you pretend for their sakes. Also your the one who is with him not them and like i've said before looks are'nt everything.

Personally, you shouldn't be looking for approval from your friends about what they think of your boyfriend. I know what you mean. You want your friends to like him, but if they say something about him that you don't like, what does it matter to them? All that matters is what you think of him, not anyone else. Just because they thought he wasn't good looking, doesn't mean other people will think the same. You should say to your friends "what does it matter to you what he looks like? You're not the one going out with him. Besides, he looks perfect to me." That's what I would have said to my friends if they said that to me. I hope this helps. Good luck! :)

They're approval is always going to be important to you. Maybe they just don't have the same taste as you, and thats okay, just tell them what you think. That you think he's cute and you like him a lot and he treats you well and that's what matters the most to you and if they don't like the way he looks, don't look at him. You shouldn't care what your friends think, its what you think about him that counts. He's your boyfriend, not theirs. Good luck!

it allways matters how a guy looks but what matters most is what is on the inside. u dont have to have the approval of your friends if you truely love him. dont worry i was in a situatition like yours once upon a time.

**** them for reals. you are the one who is attracted to him not them and you are the one who should decide who you like and date. i dont get why you need their approval just based on looks. Looks aren't everything! if they believe that then they are going to get a reality check one of these days. follow your heart.

Tell them that they don't have to like how he look but they can like how he treats you. If he treats you like a princess then looks aren't everything and I think you have yourself a winner.
