can be lonely when you have people to interact with at Work & School. And even when Work & School is finished, you can join a church or get involved in other activities.

Some people feel lonely even when they're surrounded by tons of other people.I sort of feel that way too.There can be a million people around you and you feel that no one in that group understands how you feel deep down inside.They think they do but they don't and you can't find anybody to confide in.It's a horrible feeling.

Some people surround themselves with people so others don't realize they feel alone. Having lots of friends or activities doesn't mean you have found the connection you need to feel like your a part of something. Sometimes simple interaction isn't enough.

Maybe its just an alone thats inside of them. As if they wanted to have someone close.. lets say if they do not have a girl/boyfriend or husband/wife. Maybe they are just longing for the someone to come by and sweep them off there feet and are no longer longing for the aloness to be taken away from them, because the person they were longing for already had.

A person could feel lonely if what they are looking for is love and romance and they don't have it in their life.

the person doesn't have anyone to talk to at the and of the day and they feel lonely .

That kind of loneliness is an empty feeling in side of your self.I have been there and it's not pretty.I was suffering from depression.
