Your wisdom tooth is probably coming in sideways. The smell and discomfort is from an infection--Pericornitis. Nothing is really going to help until you get them taken out. Most people don't have enough room for them to come in or to keep them clean enough. Try to clean that area as well as you can until you can have a dentist look at it.

Well I don't know about the smell but for the pain you can go to a store that sells tooth paste and tooth brushes, etc and ask someone that works there where the tooth ache medication (like Orastat). It can be a little expense of but it is worth it trust me. Follow the instructions, it will numb the pain and eventually the pain will go away. Oh yeah I recommend to get the maximum strength.

Sounds like a full blown tooth infection. Your Dentist will most likely have to subscribe an antibiotic and pain medication. If oral surgery is required may likely have to wait untill the infection is gone. But don't wait, see the Dentist tomorrow. If you do not have dental insurance, a good alternative is a discount dental plan. There typically is not waiting period, and you can get immediate dental treatment by a qualified dental professional without having to pay full price.

It might be impacted. This occurs when the tooth is growing sideways. Wisdom teeth often have to be removed because of impaction. If it has a funny smell it could be infected. I would see a dentist.

Your wisdom teeth may be impacted so I would suggest seeing a dentist to make sure, but until then oragel should help ease the pain.

If there's a smell you probably have an infection. See your dentist right away.
For the pain, try swishing warm salt water; it'll help reduce swelling. Try clove oil or some over the counter toothache liquids.

the funny smell is no good, but its kind of like when a baby is teething, you need to find something to teethe on. I used microwaved bagels. plain bagels, and when microwaved the get a little chewy. they are perfect for wisdom teeth.

It sounds like an infection or abscess. Get to a dentist right away before it gets any worse.
