The guy i like told my dad that he only sees me as a sister but then when i asked him whats up he said that he only told my dad that so he can be at ease? ok what is he tryin to say?

He likes you, and he's okay with U knowin' it, but young men get pretty nervous when it comes to meeting a girl's parents...especially her father. He told him that he only sees you as a sister so that your father won't act suspicious and be all "cautious" 'n stuff whenever he's around. Parents always think about their children havin' sex as soon as they find out that somebody likes them, and this young man knows this, so if your father thinks that he looks at you as a sister, then he knows that this boy won't be tryna have sex with you. It eases the tension for both your father AND your guy.

maybe he's scared of your dad and that's why he said that he is not interested in you that way, but i have no idea why he said that. It's still not really clear as why he said that though. i mean he can either be really scared of your family or he' s just trying to get away from you and that's how he really feels he's just not man enough to tell you to your face. ask him again this time ask him like hey why would you say something like that to my dad if you like me, or if your not sure then ask him like hey my dad wants to know whether we are together, what do i tell him. something like that like indirect.

He likes you but doesn't want your dad to know,at least that is my opinion.Just ask him what he meant.It is probably better if the answear comes from him and not someone else.

that he's either lying to you or your dad. do you really want to date a liar? i wouldn't...
of course the other option is he doesn't want your dad to know b/c he's ashamed or embarrassed?
either way doesn't look good. wait for someone better, hon.
