Why can't farts smell good?

Simple evolution my boy... those of us who think poop and all its relatives smell bad have been naturally selected for survival because we avoid things that smell "bad" and therefore we aren't as exposed to all the nasty germs and bacteria that come along with excretement as much as a person who thinks it smells like roses.

There are some farts that don't smell at all. The reason that farts smell is because of the consumption of meats. Remember when you eat meat, that it has to breakdown inside your large intestines before you excrete it and this usually takes a while (usually longer than 24 hours). Imagine having meat out for a week (it smells, right). The meat has to decay before you excrete it back out of the system. So the bad smell is usually the smell of the decaying meat internally.

Gas has something called methane gas in it. I know you have smelled cows before. Well they have tons of this. And its not going to smell pretty. Not only that but rotten food doesn't smell that good. And everything made in your intestines is the waste from your food that you have eated. The impurities that are not good for you body. They're supposed to stink because well frankly ecoli which is found in your intestines doesn't smell like roses.

it all depends on the foods you eat, if you east meat and eggs they are RANK, but if you eat alot of fruits and vegetables they are less likely to smell AS bad
