So you had one phone call and a lot of fun!!!
I think you should try talking to him more often.
Build on things that you like in him, common interests and stuff like that.
Long distence relationships are particularly tedious, but if you make it, then there is nothing like it.
Tell him that you find him interesting and fun. Ask him what he feels about you.
Follow the 'One Step' process.
Take one step closer to knowing him on every interaction.
Ask him about himself, his past, his future, his aspirations, what he expects out of you, and stuff.
In a couple of months, if you are still going steady, then plan to meet up for date. This way, there would not be any nasty surprises either.
