1 Corinthians 10:13 -
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
Hebrews 2:18 -
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
I hope you find encouragement in those verses. Let me know if you have any other queries. I think Y! Answers allows you to e-mail me. I don't use messenger though. God bless. DC
PS, I've noticed a lot of people complaining that it's not true. Of course it may not have been for them, as those verses are from letters directed at believers - ie born-again, saved people, who have God's indwelling Holy Spirit, without whom we cannot stand these problems and temptations alone. Read all of John 3 and you will see where you stand personally. You're either saved or unsaved - a repentant sinner who trusts alone on what Christ has done for you (Acts 16:31), or you're lost and on your way to Hell, no matter how good you feel you are. (Romans 3:23, Ezekiel 18: 4,20) God only accepts our repentance and faith in Christ's finished work to save a sinner like you and me. (John 3:16,18,36, John 19:30, Acts 16:31, Romans 4:4&5, 2nd Corinthians 5:15, 1st Corinthians 8:4, Hebrews 10:12)
God bless

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV)
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. James 1:2,3 (NIV)
Take heart in knowing that God even has a 'reason' for allowing burdens/trials/testing to come your way. He's not trying to hurt you --- He's giving you the opportunity for your faith to grow.
Be encouraged, and re-assured that God is in control.
God Bless.

Its a verse that's talking about temptation. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says: "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." (NIV)

1 Corinth. 10:13 But remember that the temptations that come into your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can't stand up against it. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it.

Listen to Jesus in John 14:1, “Let not your heart be troubled”, then down to verse 27, Jesus said, “peace, I leave with you. My peace I give unto you - not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid.". You know how you can have peace? Psalm 119:165. “They that love thy word have peace.” It is because we are not in the Book daily. This is our strength and then prayer – Philippians 4:6-7, “Be anxious about nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication let your requests be known unto God and the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your heart and mind.” You don't have to carry these burdens. Listen again to Jesus in Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me all you that labor and are heavy laden with the burdens of life. When you come I will give you rest.” Give the Lord a chance, today. Get into the book and on your knees in prayer.

God doesn't Instigate, promote, initiate,or sponser Evil,{Temptations}, upon us to teach us a lesson.
Lords Prayer;
........Lead us "Not" into temptation, and deliver us from evil......................
But because He is above all, He can use what was meant for Evil, and turn it into good!
Romans 8.28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
