I am a solitary Wiccan (not by choice) living in NW Connecticut. It is so difficut to find others. I've looked at MysticWicks AND WitchVox to no avail. There are no New age stores in my area where I might find info either. Please help!

Hiya. I'm a solitary in NE CT. I don't know of anything in your area, unfortunately. I don't see a problem with being solitary, though. You don't have to follow someone else's rules. Although I wouldn't mind seeing how others do ritual. Here's a list of stores. Hopefully there's one in your area. What city are you in??
NOTE-You may just have to travel a bit. CT isn't that big lol.

Hmm I'm Wiccan as well, and I actually was gonna suggest WitchVox until you said you tried it. You could always post something on WitchVox, asking if people in your area would like to get together. You can also ask around on message boards online.

If being solitary really bothers you try an on line coven. Also have you tried a UU church. I have a lot of pagan friends that went to UU, in fact that is how I got involved with the church. They have CUUPS (Coven of Unitarian Universalist Pagans.) In the source i have the page with the Connecticut churches listed.

i know how you feel. i also am a witch. i am new to the craft so, still searching on my exact path. there are no stores where i am either. i am in sc, so being in the bible belt does'nt really help. but, just don't give up. everything always happens for a reason. maybe we are just meant to be on our own for a reason. blessed be. bekka

Tell some of those living in Mass. They may warm things up for you.

www.witchvox.com ;) If that isn't working for you, you could try online groups on yahoo, msn or individual web sites.
