and the older man was from my old neighborhood. I fed him and his wife for FREE!! Me and the old man chatted for an hour and then they left. The old lady never said a word. A week later the old man comes in and says he can't come here anymore because his wife doesn't like the food. I said that's fine because ya can't please everyone. He came back last week to tell me the real reason why he won't be back. He said his wife was very religious and born again and said I was a bad person because she said I lived a sinful life. Hmmm!! I told the old man that was fine and people are entitiled to their opinion and that he was always welcome in my store.
A friend of mine who is not Christian pointed out to me that not only did the old man come in once but twice to put me down in the name of his religious wife.
Is this the way of the new christianity??? I have no idea what was said for her to make such a judgment!!

All you can do is be the best person that you can. How people perceive you is about them and not you. Keep being kind to this man and offer love unconditionally. You may be able to teach him a better way just by your example. Let go of the wife and just know that the husband obviously feel some sort of connection with you.

You have to remember that even Born Again people can sometimes be
just as stupid as any other person saved or not.Just because you are saved don't mean you are Perfect. There are numbers of people in the
Bible that have done awful things BUT THEY payed a high price for their sin.King David was punished by loosing the baby that was conceived
while he slept with another mans wife.David's daughter was raped by one of his own sons sin has a high price.
Like I said we are saved but NOT PERFECT YET but someday we WILL BE.

if you had a conversation for more than an hour, he must of liked you, and the lady did not say anything, maybe he is bringing back her thoughts, but if he has came back to you twice, he might feel bad because of the way his wife is acting.

if he pops back in, take time to sit down with him and talk to him about your feelings. he obvious likes your establishment and would like to eat there without the wife and there is nothing wrong that.

good luck

MMMM what is it about christians that makes them so damn judgemental, her loss for not comming back notice she didn't complain about a free meal? As for her husband comming back mayby he appreciated what you did for them, and is embarresed by his wifes behaviour.

who cares what she thinks, she has no right to judge you anyway, and you were kind enough to feed them for free.turns out that was the sin if she didn't even appreciate it!!
