Would you please name the sect of Christians who worshiped Mary at the time of Muhammad?

Koran 5:116, represents Christians as worshipping Mary which is a historical error. Given the fact that the pagan Arabs did worship Mary’s idol in the Kaba, and that history records no group of Christians had ever worshiped Mary at this time.

Catholics didnt start for a cple hundred more years.

Mary-ism wasnt cannonized until 400 or so more years. I can look up the exact date.

Dont get DaVinci on me, no the Knights Templar were solid christians, they lived in the temple and excavated it, removing its sacred treasures for almost 10 years.

Real Christians do not worship Mary, because they obey what the Bible teaches. The Catholic church has over the years been influenced by pagan rituals and popes that only wanted money. I am a protestant, I have no denomination but true Christians base their faith in the Bible not in currupt church doctrine or lifless rituals or denominations. Many of the Catholic doctrines are in opposition to what the Bible says. I say if someone is a true Christian then they follow the Word of God not the words of men. One of the first of the 10 commandments says that no one should make an image out of anything or bow down and worship it.

The midevil Christians blindly followed currupted church leaders seeking wealth and relics from Jerusalem. I tell you that the crussades were not of God, they were of currupted church leaders. These leaders did not even let the people read the Bible, if they did then they would not have got cought up in their false religion. The protestants followed the Word of God and did not conform to false church doctrine, and did not base their salvation in works. But they did good works because they accepted Christ as their savior, they did not do good deeds in order to be saved, but because they were saved. I myself do not know for sure which sect worshiped Mary, but thats what most catholics do today. They won't openly admit it, they call it praying to her, but still if you bow down and pray to somthing it is called worship.

My point is the only way one is a Christian is if they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and confess it. Catholics do not do this, they recieve Jesus in the form of communion, and between all of the saints and Mary and other things that they worship, I cannot call them Christian. They are just another religion in this crazy world.

Might I add that if you recieve an answer from an athiest, who says many bad things about Christians not Catholics, do not believe him, even if you are a Muslim, because until you have met a true Christian you will never meet a nicer person. Some athiest pretend to be friends with Muslims but many still hate you and your beliefs as well. Real Christians love people with God's love in them, and perhaps one day you my friend will become one, but it is a choice. You will never know God's love until you do. But I know that you believe differently, and I'm not trying to abuse you. I'm sharing my faith with you, because the Bible instructs me to do so regardless if people listen or not.

I have a relationship with God through His Son Jesus, not religion. He helps me to be a rightious person and to love my enemies.

I tell you that you will never know how it's like until you accept Jesus as your Savior. But I am only sharing with you, my intentions are not to abuse you, may my God bless you and your family and show you the Truth about Jesus.

why do muslims and christians not get along if its the same god
