2 Corinthians 4:4 says Satan is the 'god of this world' and John 12:31 says that Satan is the ruler of this world.
Why would God give his world, his wonderful creation, away to Satan?
Is the world that we live in part of hell, if it is a part of Satans kingdom(if he rules over it)?

Remember, Satan is never more that a dog on a leash. God has a plan even if we don't always understand why He does what He does, there's a good reason and a purpose for it.

Satan is a minion of God, he is an angel. If you look back to the original roots of the word satan, you will find that he was one of the ancient angels according to the jews. He was never kicked out of heaven or anything like that, he is simply the angel in heaven that is against mankind, but is still loyal to God and one of His servants. So if Satan really was the ruler of this world, God would still be the man holding all the reigns since he would be ruling the ruler.

God gave the world to man in the beginning. Man gave it away to Satan when he sinned. God will destroy this Earth,Satan and his followers when that time comes. After the Earth is destroyed there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth. God and his true worshipers will live forever.

When Satan betrayed God (first Lucifer, the Angel of Light) he was basically banished from the Kingdom of God....therefore, he went to the Earth, where the people there/here have free will...he used our free will to his advange. How? Well, he knows he will lose, but he just wants to try and drag down all that he can, with him. God didn't want to give his world away, it's just that God cannot be with sin, and untill the appointed time, Satan will have his reign here on Earth...but remeber,as the Apostle Paul put it, with me putting it in modern terms, "we are not of this world, we just live in it." Jesus loves you!

God did not give it away to Satan. God let man have rule over the earth and everything in it, and when Eve took the first bite of the forbidden fruit she gave control over to Satan.

satan is the ruler of this world, satan challenged God's right to rule, so God said go ahead and try, and see if u can do better, and until god brings this sytem of things to an end, satan will continue to rule this system of things, after that god will bring about a paradise and satan will be abyssed............

Humans (Adam and Eve Surrendered Earth to Satan) He cast doubt in their head to obtain it. Then later Jesus would meet Satan=read=:: "Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them; and he said to Him, "All these I will give you, if You will fall down and worship me." Then Jesus said to him, "Begone, Satan! for it is written, 'You shall worship The Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.'" Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him." (Matthew 4:8-11 RSV). Now, That's is powerful!! Just goes to show how powerful Jesus the son of God is.

God gave his world to us; we in turn gave it to Satan. God plays fair, so he didn't take back what he had already given away, even though it had fallen into the wrong hands. Instead, he spent his efforts getting the people back.
