Caveat: My beef is not with Mormons. They are really great people. It's their doctrine that I am set against. Always will be.

You can't get rid of them. When I was a missionary we saw 'No Trespassing' signs as a challenge and we even climbed fences around gated communities. We saw our work as being part of a higher plan that was more important than threats or laws etc.
Whether or not Mormons are a cult really just depends on your definition of 'cult'. Almost all Mormons would say that they are not in a cult. But almost all former Mormons would say that it is one.
Mormons do not worship Joseph Smith, but they come pretty close to it. Mormons are taught that Joseph Smith has done more for the salvation of men than anyone besides Jesus. There are Hymns about him in the official LDS hymnal. And yet very few Mormons know how many wives JS had or that he killed at least 3 people before he was shot. He has been placed on a pedestal and glorified far beyond what he actually was.
Early Mormons were a lot more cult-like than current ones. Back when Utah was isolated from the rest of the country they pretty much did whatever Brigham Young told them to do. He was the governor and the prophet at the same time and he owned a lot of the businesses too. He even tried to introduce a new alphabet.
Now days, Gordon B. Hinkley (the current prophet) tries to steer the church in a much more mainstream direction. So a lot of the current members don't even know about most of the cult-like aspects of their church. The best example of this is the change they made to the temple ceremonies in 1990. Patrons of the temple used to have to promise they would submit to death if they revealed the temple ceremony. This was very cult-like, but now that part of the ceremony is absent.
I'm happy to correctly answer any other questions that anyone has about the Mormon church.

The definition of cult in my dictionary would not make Mormonism a cult. How to get rid of them? Ask them firmly and politely to leave.

Start by placeing a No Trespassing sign where it cannot be missed. Then if they ignor it, you have a legal right to have them arrested. You can also call their church office and ask to be listed as a do not disturb person.
A 'day sleeper' sign might work.
As to being a Cult, they qualify when they have just one person leading them. Usually a small group, with a fanatic as a leader.

This is what Webster's says - A cult is
" : a religion regarded as unorthodox or spurious; also : its body of adherents"
That's why they are considered a cult

I believe in God,
but I think that any religion or belief that is not believing in God, is considered occult.
