My bf and i talk alot during school and we flirt but on the phone it's hard to make conversation?

Because you talked about your entire day already. You need some time apart to have something to talk about.

Your in person conversations should have the most time --- phone is for business and relaying necessary info. to family, friends and loved ones --- I know there are people who use it like a fashion statement but not everyone is that talkative and I don't think it's a good idea to spend hours on the phone talking to someone you see practically everyday ---- that's why most teen love relationships fade because the guy and girl have talk themselves out ---- there's nothing interesting anymore and they get tired of each other!

sounds like you two talk so much you run out of things to talk about. talk about whatever is going on in your life. school, class, what is going on at home, etc.
