The best workout for the abs is crunches. Dance or move for about five minutes then do about 25 crunches a day twice. And another one is lie on a mat and pull your legs together high up do it about 10 to 20 times. Also Dancing is good, for specific like belly dancing thats why they are in shape, like Shakira she's got good abs because she is the best belly dancer. And Cardio exercises like walking or running on the treadmill and increase speed and incline as time goes by. And thats the best ways to look great. Good luck. Pilates works alot of lower abs, for example: Lay on your back.
Now bend your knees, with your feet flat on the floor. Lift and bring your knees in towards you, then lower both of your knees again, your knees and feet should be lifted. This is alot of lower abs.
Have you heard of the "bicycle" where you are laying down, and alternating elbow to knee? This is really hard to explain like this, maybe this will help you more, try your search engine and type in "lower abdominal workout" and you'll see a whole bunch of them, they will show pics too, you'll love it! Be sure to look at everything and you'll be able to find some without having to buy anything..
