i should have asekd specifiaclly, just afraid people will be mad. i mean no harm just trying to find the "truth". this is more about the schism. what was the original thing that got the orthodox moving i know everything about the schism im just thinking more philosophically here, what was the reasons. any thing would help!

I presume that you're talking about the Eastern [Orthodox] Church splitting with the Western [Roman] Church, right? That was circa 11th or 12th century AD I think when they decided to disband themselves from the Vatican...

You'll have to 'google' or 'yahoo' it as to the actual reasons behind it [the schism].

It could be similar to King Henry's disavowal of the papal authority when he formed the Church of England, but I'm not sure. Sorry...
