It depends. You can buy sample tests to prepare you; you can go to classes. You have to get a total number of points, and a specific number in each subject. My son took it 2 x's and got more than enough points for the diploma, but was short 1 or 2 points for reading comprehension. I suggest you get to the bookstore. Good Luck

I was home schooled and decided to further my education later on. I had to get my GED because although I graduated, homeschooling does not provide an accredited diploma. I was absolutely floored at how simple and easy the GED test was... it has been dumbed down so severely (to meet the current public school standards). You will have no trouble at all. I completed my test in a few short hours, and left shaking my head and laughing. I could not believe how shallow it was. So don't worry! Piece of cake.

A GED is not that easy. I left school after my junior year (over some stupid thing) T^hat was in 1960 I went back & got my GED in1984. I liketo tell my daughter it took me 24 yrs to graduate. Ihave been to collage since then.
