No, the state won't pay the child support. Deadbeats like your ex will do anything possible to get out of paying and it'll often cost more than what you'll ever see to go after the child support. I know from experience. My daughter's sperm donor has been a deadbeat for about 9 years now and the state hasn't even jailed him for it. He even works for the government, so they know where he is.

Check with the state that you live in. If you have a court order saying that he has to pay child support. That is good for you. If you have his current address, social security number, work place. You can have the child support to come out of his paycheck. If he is behind the state will give him time to catch up as they say. If he doesn't pay he can loose his license to drive, go to jail etc. it happens everyday sweetie. I don't know if the state will pay. I think that that is what we call welfare.

Um no, the state doesn't pay "child support"...the state pays "welfare"...but that's a whole different thing. Alhough...if you have a job, you may not even be able to qualify for it.
You need to take the deadbeat to court.
They will garnish his wages, so where ever he gets a job, whenever he gets a job...half his paycheck will go to you before he even ever gets it... not only that...but they can suspend his license if he doesn't pay and really screw up his social life with that...
Not only that, but they can get a judgement against him for unpaid child support, so if he ever tries to buy a car or a house or anything that needs financing...he won't be able to unless he pays you off first.
Go to Court...

no the state does not pay.I'm going thru this now.the money just keeps adding up against him w 10% interest monthly.once it reaches a certain amount they will take his license away eventually he could end up in jail, but if in jail he cant work therefore he cant pay,its really a no win situation.just call in every month and keep on top of them 2 c what they are doing.if he ever does his taxes and owes u money,he will not get it the money will go 2 you.that happened 2 me a month ago,he did his taxes after many years ,yet owes me 9,000 therefore all 7,500 he thought he had coming back 2 him came 2 me.hahah.good luck.

I went through the state to get child support for david. He pays the gov of fl and they pay me. If he doesnt pay they take his drivers license away first and then he goes to jail. It takes about 6 months unless he demands a paternity test.

no the state will not pay your child support. i tried that to. if you are on state assistence, they will collect what he does pay to pay the state back what they gave you, but thats all they will do. i would look at signing up with an independent company like supportkids.com i have been with them for 5 years and they do put pressure on the NCP

Yep, it's called Welfare. I believe once the parent is in touch with you once again (or should I say, once that parent can be found), and when he's finally got a job, the state will take payments out of his check, and you'll get a portion, but most of it will go into paying back Welfare.

Tey can garnish his wages and/or jail him for failure to pay. Has he been court ordered to pay? And no...the state will not pay his child support but you can get assistance through the oh-so wonderful welfare system. But only if you truly need it.

I dont know of the state paying. Maybe if you are on DSS. It sounds like you might have to take him to court and violate him for non payment. I am sure they will give him a couple of chances to pay. You will probably be in and out of court violating him. I know that is what I had to do.
