I think they are excused. I mean blasphemy against holy spirit (unforgivable sin) happens when Someone rejects the gift of God (salvation) and dies without Him. So if a baby or anyone who never heard His word dies, How can they not be forgiven? I think God gives them an option to believe after death, IMO. but the bible never clearly says

If there is someone who never hears of Jesus Christ (for example -throughout the history of the world there are many people in China who have probably lived their entire life and never even heard the name "Jesus Christ".

So, therefore then does that person get to go to heaven or not?...should they be punished for something they didn't know anything about?

Would that be "fair" would that be "justice"?

If God is just and fair (and He is) what will God do with these people who have not had the gospel preached to them?

This is the one question that the other religions cannot answer.

But thankfully the truth has been restored to the earth. What happens when a person dies is that the sprirt and the body seperate (as in a person taking off a glove off their hand). The body stays on earth and the person's spirit goes into the Post-Mortal Spirit World. In the Post-Mortal Spirit World there is a great missionary effort going on and people are being taught the truths of the gospel. If they choose to accept the gospel there they can. But Baptism (and other ordinances) are a REQUIRED part of the gospel...Jesus said that no man can enter into the kingdom of heaven unless they be born of water and the spirit. (Jesus Himself set the example for us by being baptized - to show how important it is).

So there they are in the spirit world having accepted the gospel, but they cannot be baptized without a body. So what happens then? There is a principle in the gospel called "vicarious work" it is where things can be done for others by someone (if they accept it). A perfect example of this concept is the Atonement of Jesus Christ - where He will suffer for us (in our place) if we meet His requirements for that (one requirement being baptism into the correct church). But as far as the vicarious work needed for this person being "baptized"- that sacred work is done in the temples of the Lord by people serving as proxies (in that person's place). The Post-Mortal Spirit World and Heaven are not the same place (Heaven is after the Post-Mortal Spirit World)

You can learn more about the restored gospel by going to www.lds.org and I would also encourage you to talk to the missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints.

The ONLY ones who will not hear the Word of God will be babies. As far as biblical reference goes: God's Word will be preached throughout the world, and everyone will have a chance to accept or not. Then the Second Coming of Christ will occur and the separation of believers and condemned will begin.

The people who get to go to heaven are the ones who “get right with God” by beginning a relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. For those who have never heard of Jesus and his father (God), but have been pursueded by Satan and do his work then they may have a tough time(Though I'm not to judge), As for babies we are all God's people however some people go off the track and do Satan's work here on earth. I don't think babies can be persueded by satan and therfore are not pursueded by him. But to get to heaven refer to my opening sentence.

Read Romans ch 1, last half. Everyone has a chance-even if they never heard of Jesus. Problem is, most don't take that chance!

babies are not held accountable.

do people who have never heard of YOUR god go to heaven? i should certainly hope not. what if i made up a religion where the after life consists of you washing my car for eternity? why would you be expected to go to my religions after life. ridiculous.

To me, no one really knows if they're gonna get into heaven, because some people that go to church won't get in, and some people that don't go to church still believe in god, so no one really knows if they'll get in.

Salvation is a gift from God by His grace and will alone, and is available to everyone who ever existed.

It does not matter what you do/do not believe, do, think, know...

It is by Gods grace alone.

This I believe; http://homelessheart.com/testimony.htm
