They can't because the lpga is for ladies only. a dude with a sex op wasn't allowed to play. but shame on the pga for allowing the tv rating b.s. that goes on now just because someone didn't clarify that the pga was meant for men, or was it, but now that there is an lpga there is no reason for a female golfer to play on the pga tour apart from money. now there is a lpga the rules for the pga should be changed, maybe the MPGA should be started. but tv money will never allow that to happen not now or not for a while

I believe it actually goes against the rules of the LPGA. Actually the better comparison would be that AMATURES are allowed to compete. After all the PGA is the PROFESSIONAL Golfers Assocciation. Anyway why does a man want to go play on the LPGA unless he think he can't compete against the guys. Nothing against the women but their tees are closer because they can't tend to drive as far. So by playing as a guy against a woman you should have an unfair advantage. If you aren't good enough to have an advantage do you really want to admit it?

The payout is more in the PGA so why would the men want to go from dollars to cents?

No - It's kind of like black women entering the Miss America pageant. But a white women can't enter the Miss "Black" America Pageant.
