Although I don't know your gf, or the ACTUAL reason that she said this, I can TOTALLY relate.
I'm guessin' that your girl has had quite a few heart breaks in her past...before you came along. By her changing her mind within that two weeks time period, I'm sure that she did a lot of thinking, and apparently, she's afraid. Your girl probably "programmed her mind not to be in love with you" because in the beginning, she put up her guards in order to keep her heart from being broken again.
Don't worry about it...if she's hung in there for 8 months, then you 2 must have some strength in ur relationship. She wants to be in love with you, she's just afraid that you'll crush her heart. Don't press her about it, just keep being there for her. Be her best friend AND her boyfriend...after all, ACTIONS speak louder than words.
