one thing you can get aids by blood transfusions.. also being with someone you do not know well at all they could be bisexual.....you can not trust anyone these days.. also i have heard of women getting a disease from there boyfriend after being with a prostitude years before...it is best to have protected sex or the safest way is not to have sex unless you really love and know someone...it is the best, most pleasant way to make love to someone is to love them.. have a commitment and know what you are getting into.....i have also just recently read that people die without the knowledge that they even had the aids virus... i read that today ...in a email i get from alerts of medical diseases and illnesses...i also read that they have traced aids back to monkeys..makes you wander what kind of people there are in this world.. there is people that have multiple sex partners and do not even know who they are.. that is just so awful in my eyes...i believe in the bible and things are getting just like the bible says.. it is just like the days of sodom and gomorrah where god destroyed them ....but that is getting off your line of questioning.. i do think they are learning more and more about aids.. but i think they need to find a way for more would know they have hiv or the aids virus cause they may innocently go around infecting people and if they would know they had it then take the precautions...i think it is a very dreadful disease and it has killed some innocent children and people..i do not know anything else that i can think of right now, but i do hope this has helped you some... good luck with your study..

I do not use the barrier method (condom) but I do use birth controll everyday. My boyfriend has been tested before he met me, and I get tested every year when I have my yearly pap exam. HIV/AIDS can not show up on a test but show up 5-10 years later so it is always best to use a barrier for protection. Gay men are not the only people that can get AIDS. You can get AIDS from blood transfusions, kissing, spit, or semen.
Kissing: if you have a cut and the person your kissing has AIDS and has a cut that is bleeding there is a chance you can get AIDS. Same with spit. its very rare though.
Having unprotected sex you can get AIDS. If two gay guys are having anal sex and there are tears in the anus wall and the other guy ejaculates into their anus and has AIDS then in turn the person can get AIDS. if a GUY AND A GIRL are having unprotected sex they can get AIDS. basically any blood to blood interaction or semen to cut/blood interaction can cause AIDS.

I have unprotected sex. I have no excuse, except laziness, and the the thought of "I wont get pregnant". I have only 1 partner. Both of have been tested for HIV. So far we are in the clear. You can get aids from UNPROTECTED SEX!!!!!!!!

Yes, I certainly do use protection. You can get aids even if you are straight. It's not just a gay disease.
