My boyfriend and I don't really have any adult friends/family that we want in our wedding. But we do have some children that we want. Basically I have 2 brothers 14 and 5 I want included. My mom's friend's daughter who is 13, and my neice who is 5. I'm also considering 2 of the 4 children I care for as a nanny - a boy and a girl. My boyfriend doesn't care too much about the wedding. He's very close to my side of the family, he doesn't have anyone he wants in it from his side.
I want to know if this would be okay for a wedding or would it seem weird?

This should work out find because the children won't tell you how to run things the way some adults some time do. The children will listen and just think you are right and do as you ask.

It would be fine. In our family the weddings usually had the children in the wedding party as flower girls and pages...only the maid of honour and best man (who have to sign the official documents) were adults. I think it's great that you want to involve the young people in your wedding. As someone who got to be a flower girl for an aunt when I was five...it was the greatest!!!

I think it would be really cute! A lot of weddings have junior bridesmaids and groomsmen, you'll just have several of them :)
You may need someone who's a legal adult to sign your license as a witness, but someone from your family could do that.
Or boyfriend could have an adult from your family stand up for him. My friend's brother was the best man at her wedding.

It's your wedding, do as you wish!
You are the bride, you should be happy. Many people now do not have "traditional" weddings.
Some brides even have a "man of honour" instead of a maid.

It's fine! It's your day, so you get to do it the way you want to!! I have 10 nieces and nephews and they were all incorporated into the day...my wedding party was 17 people, not including me and my husband! Good luck!

If that is what you want go for it. Also you might want to think of a minture bride and groom. That would be really cute for the little ones.

it's your special day! you can pretty much have anything you want. on these types of moments, you want to be surrounded by the people you love the most. in this case they just happen to be younger.
you could even have the girls wear angel or fairy wings and the boys could wear top hats and pocket watches. very whimsical.
