The answer is more simple than it seems - there is sin in the world. If sin had never been brought into the world there would be no death and no pain. The other problem with the whole "God mapped out our lives" scenario is that He gave us free will. Even if He knows what's going to happen to us (which He does), even He can't control how we're going to react to what happens to us because He gave us the ability to make our own choices. So, combine free will with sin being in the world and now you know why such terrible things happen to such good people.

The question you have ask is one that every Christian asks at one time or another.
It is difficult to understand how GOD could allow the death of a child or the terrible suffering of cancer and other diseases.
As A Pastor I wish I could answer your question, but I can't.
As far as your life being mapped out I think you are right in some ways.
God knows what will happen if you go down this road and He knows what will happen if you go down the other road.
Problem is the choice is yours.
Pray, remain strong and ask GOD for guidance.

Yes God is governing all things according to His purposes but nevertheless we are not robots. He does not force us to do what we do. It is a mystery for us how but He is sovereign over all things yet we do what we do because we want to. Just like right now you can open or close your eyes its up to you, you can pull out a hair from your head yet the scripture says not a hair can fall with out His will. This is how we know how awesome God is. As to the difficulties in this life sometimes He gives us a peek at the good He is doing and sometimes not. Think of this. The greatest crime ever was putting the Son of God to death, yet He Himself determined it and Jesus also says He laid down His life willingly. A terrible crime by those who did it yet a great work of grace and mercy by God. In all the "bad" things that men do and suffer God is working a greater good.

I often feel this way as well, but I do believe that we have a tiny small amount of free will, and over the ages, we learn to use it in more productive ways.
As to the suffering and painful deaths, I often think of when I was a small child and my mom would take me to the doctor. I would dread having to get a shot in the arm, and when it was given, I would cry bloody murder, but looking back, I know two things.
1. In the grand scheme of things, it was over extremely quickly, and before i knew it, I had a lollipop in my mouth.
2. I am thankful to those who ignored my pleas for "mercy", because they knew what was best for me, even if I did not know it at the time of the ordeal.

a number of human beings in this website look to believe you. would not you want to pay attention from those people who can clarify why they have self belief what they have self belief? As for me, horoscopes are solid alerts into human personalities. even however, i would not bypass as a typical a thank you to assert that horoscopes rule's human beings' destiny. If I appeared on the zodiac signs and indicators extra heavily interior the previous, i might have had a heads up on some blunders I particularly have made. I basically say this with the aid of fact individuals are very imprecise on the beginning up. And, what else does a individual particularly would desire to bypass on, in the event that they are no longer getting a history verify, or a solid own chum to furnish them the scope, or the 411 on that individual. to boot, confining to an bigger source what else is there, available. i think of human beings want to be responsive to what are you all approximately, a minimum of I do. And, with the aid of fact that we save our maximum inner maximum and innermost innovations to ourselves, an innocuous delivery date isn't a bad start up. Horoscopes would not rule my existence, and it in no way will rule me; there is the variety of outrage as freewill, yet I do exactly like the insightfulness that horoscopes promises.

it almost seems as though god created us and then abandoned us.
as a kid i remember questioning as you are now. since then i have learned that it is not what you believe in but how you live your life. the threat of hell does not make me a good person. instead i CHOOSE to be good for the sake of being good.
i do not believe that we will ever find the truth to the origins of religion or god. i feel that too much time has past and that we have alienated ourselves from our beginnings. alas, here we are.
But it sure would be nice to know for sure...wouldn't it?

And also think of this, if he has everything out then A) where is free will? and B) what about the people who are going to go to hell? Think about it, if he planned out everything, he would literally be making people whose destiny was to burn in Hell. Pleasant.
