There are some revolvers in mass production that use rifle rounds in them. While they are firing a 45-70 rifle cartridge they are still hand guns and give repeat shot capability. Link below will give you more info on this gun.

someone does make a 50BMG hand gun. Which IS the largest handgun, but is not in common production. the desert eagle .50AE is a shorter brass then the 500 S&W, but they both move a 450 or 50 grain bullet at just under 2000fps. both are easy to find in your local gun store, not comon but not hard to find. (ie may have to order)

currently, the world's largest handgun manufactured is the desert eagle, its a .50 caliber (12.7 MM in metrics) bullet, u get hit by one of those things, u WILL NOT get up again. anyways, idk how easy it is for civilians to get it right now, its a military handgun used in iraq right now, but i bet u can contact the company. the company is called IMI, isreali military industries.
