You are young and so are the girls you are attracted to. About a week is right. The older you get, the longer they last.

Maybe in that week they realize you are not a good match, or maybe they want to 'collect' guys for a while.

All you can do is keep trying, and eventually you'll find a girl that you have a lot in common with. Don't get discouraged. Dating is hard at the beginning.

Hey, all you really have to do is prove you are attracted to her.... My b.f.'s mostly didnt do that and thats why we broke up me and kyler wouldnt have broken up if we talked together and got to hang out... But the point is tell her once in a while " I love you" and she'll think twice about breaking up. Also helps if you call her on the phone some... if you need more help e-mail me at: rai31193@yahoo.com

the only thing that i can think of is that you're coming on too strong. spend that week (and definately longer) trying to get to know them, not trying to get any commitment out of them. dating is fun when it's a mystery, so don't spill your guts to a girl--let her wonder if you like her or not. i know that when a girl plays hard to get i tend to want her even more, and when she's making herself too available that i lose interest. there's a happy medium somewhere in there though

Well, they probably don't know the real "you". You need to tell them more about who you are and be yourself. They think they know you and you turn out different than they expected. Then again, it could be a low time in your relationship life. If any further counseling is needed, message me. Best of luck.
