I have heard that putting a little toothpaste on a cold sore will help get rid of it.

you put a LOT of chapstick on, Carmex and Blistex is a good brand for cole sores. Don't bite your lip where it is or anything, and try not to get you lip cut. Hope this helps!!!

I always use tea tree oil. If you use it when you feel the tingle, it can stop the cold sore from appearing.

I use Zovirax, and it helps it to dry out faster, and therefore last for a shorter amount of time.

carmex or campho i can't think of the complete spelling but it comes in a little green bottle with a yellow lable. and please keep your mouth off of everything and one other thing ear wax works really well.
