wat is the difference between a camcorder and a video camera?

no difference, although usually, consumer cameras (i cant help calling them that) are called camcorders, and higher level cameras are called video cameras. but im not saying that necessarily true all the time. you could still refer to a camcorder as a video camera and it wont make a difference.

Yep same thing, Camcorder is just a merged word "Camera Recorder" Both can be used interchangeably and mean the same thing.
