i justcut my drk brn hair shoulder length & want some color tips?

i need normal stuff found at home cus parent dont no about my hair cut and would never let me dye my hair

you can get highlights. I heard that thin blonde and dark red work well on a dark brunette. I'm going to try them myself.

Well, if your parents arent letting you do it i'm gonna assume your pretty young so i wouldn't advise bleaching it or using any sort of dye cuz unless you know what your doing you could screw it up.


Go to the store and ask for some "Sun-In." its safe and all you do is spray it in your hair and go tanning cuz it uses heat/the sun's rays to work. I'm sure if you asked your parents about that they wouldn't have a problem with it.

Oh, btw.... it makes your hair blonde where you spray it at.

Try some wash-in-wash-out colour shampoos. They will give you a slight change in colour that your parents will probably not notice, especially since they wash out in the next couple of washes!

lemons make your hair lighter if you go in the sun. you can also use hydrogen peroxide ( that might your hair orange )
