Hey, that guy is me! My then girlfriend, now my wife tried clothing me in fashionable wear, worked for a while, but then hey, "I'm ME!". If I freaking feel like wearing sandals and an old t-shirt on a night out because I feel more comfortable on them, please respect that. If you're embarrassed by that, let me know, I'd dump you. Fashion is nice, but I'd rather be a lot more comfortable than fashionable. Practical guy, I am. But i admit i do have bad taste when it comes to fashion.
