Money, and lots of it. I have a friend in Galena ks. that has a bug, bug eng and trans, of course both modified, turns a 1/4 mile 10.8 sec.

You cant really without upgrading the engine. Its the body shape and the external things (mirrors, bumpers etc) that create wind resistance - and the motor cant push past that resistance.

put some additional engine components in it. Filter, charger, etc. Pretty much almost anything is tunable.

thats easy, you just need to get doom buggy kit, try ebay first they are cheapest, then got to an auto shop. if it works for herbie it will work for you (note: not lindsay lohan style)
